The CISCE Zonal Athletics Meet 2025 witnessed spirited participation from 40 schools, with our (St.Thomas School, Dhurwa) athletes showcasing commendable performances over the three-day event under the guidance of our PET ( Physical Education Teachers) Mr. Virendra Singh and Mrs. Neelam Kumari.
Day 1: 2nd July 2025
Our team had a remarkable start, securing 2 Gold Medals:
Anant Raj (X “B”) clinched Gold in Triple Jump
Anant Raj also secured Gold in 400m Running

Roshan Raj and Anuttam Nishit Ekka (Under-14 Boys) qualified in the 400m Heats
Under-14 Boys Relay Team qualified in the Heats
Orian Beck and Ridhiman Ghosh advanced to the Finals of Hammer Throw (Day 3)
Day 2: 3rd July 2025
The momentum continued with the team earning 1 Gold and 2 Bronze Medals:
Aditya Singh (VII “E”) won Gold in Discus Throw (Under-14 Boys)
Manyata Kumari (X “B”) won Bronze in Javelin Throw (Under-17 Girls)
Vaishnavi Bhardhwaj (X “C”) earned Bronze in Shot Put (medal ceremony on Day 3)
Additional Highlights:
Roshan Raj (VIII “C”) placed 4th in 200m Final (U-14 Boys)
Rudra Singh (VII “E”) placed 4th in High Jump Final (U-14 Boys)
Urshika Chauhan (VIII “E”) placed 4th in Hurdles Final (U-14 Girls)

The final day concluded with 1 Gold, 1 Silver, and 3 Bronze Medals:
Anant Raj (X “B”) captured his third Gold in 400m Hurdles
Ridhiman Ghosh (X “F”) earned Silver in Hammer Throw
Orian Beck (IX “A”) received Bronze in Hammer Throw
Anuttam Nishit Ekka (VIII “B”) secured Bronze in 100m Sprint and another Bronze in 400m Running
