St  Thomas  School ,  Dhurwa  ,Ranchi  hosted  a  workshop  on  15^th  June,  Monday, 2026  for  the  teachers.  It  was  conducted  by  Ms.  Priti  Plabini  Mishra  on  Effective  Classroom  and  Teaching  Strategies  for  High  Impact  Instruction.  The  objective  was  to  enhance  teaching  skills,  improve  classroom  management  and  promote  innovative  teaching  methods.  The  resource  person,  an  experienced  education  expert  conducted  interactive  sessions  by  discussions,  displayed  clippings  of  famous  movies  and  we  had  several  practical  activities.  She  stressed  on  the  art  of  communication,  how  to  use  the  soft  and  hard  skill  in class  which  includes  the  verbal  and  non-verbal  communication.

The  workshop  emphasised  the  importance  of  creating  a  positive  learning  environment  to  meet  the  diverse  needs  of  the  pupils.  The  workshop  proved  highly  informative  and  beneficial.  Teachers  gained  valuable  insights  into  modern  teaching  practices.

We  remain  grateful  to  our  Honourable  Principal  Rev.  Thomas  K.  Thomas  and  our  Vice-Principal  Mrs.  Jessey  Jacob  fpr  organising this  workshop  which  would  definitely  contribute  significantly  to  the  professional  development  of  the  teaching  staff.
