On 24th January,2026, St.Thomas School, Dhurwa had the Blessing Ceremony for the ICSE Batch 2026.
The ceremony was graced by Bishop Secretary, Very Reverend Daniel Thomas, as the Chief Guest, Principal St.Thomas School, Dhurwa, Rev. Anix Johnson, Principal St.Thomas School , Hardaag, Rev.Ashwin Jacob, Adminstrator, St.Thomas School, Kuli, and Vice Principal, St.Thomas School,Dhurwa. Mrs.Jessey Jacob.
The Auditorium with Std X ,the Outgoing Batch of ICSE 2026,and the host Std IX ,teachers had a serene silence filled with reverence and solemnity.Some very prestigious awards that would create indefinite memories were given. Beginning with awards to the Head Boy Tejas Srivastava,Head Girl Roneya Chatterjee,IT Captains- Dhruvin Devraj(Boy), Aadya Akshara(Girl),the Choir n the band troupe.A new motivating award was introduced this year- The best academic performers award based on the result of Std X and the winners for the same were -First prize to Anishka Gupta (XG)

The Best Outgoing award was given to: Swapnil Sonal(Boy)

Representing the teachers Ms.P.Srikala Menon gave the Teacher’s Reflection.
Two children Ms.Tejal(XD) and Ms.Anishka Gupta(XG) gave the Students Reflection.
There were melodious blessing songs n farewell songs which kept everyone enthralled.This was followed by the Order of Service which had prayers, blessings n absolution. The scripture reading from Bhagwada Gita, Quran, Guru Granth Sahibji and Holy Bible ,was done by Ashmit Raj, Samia Tasneem, Harsh and Amy Rogers, respectively. After a disciplined dispersal, a sumptuous lunch awaited the children. They enjoyed the lunch amidst laughter n happiness. Blessings flowed for a superb performance for our children whom we had nurtured for 12 years. They entered this temple of learning as toddlers but were going to step into the world fortified with knowledge and grace.
