Akriti Club:
The Akriti Club at St. Thomas School Dhurwa Ranchi, celebrated its art competitions and activities on 11th July 2025,with great enthusiasm, focusing on fostering creativity among students. It was a prominent example of combined art events like colouring, painting, best out of waste, flower making, warli art etc.
Bridge club:
The Bridge School Committee organized an educational visit of selected students to St. Thomas School Dhurwa, to Sakhua Bagan and Kulli on 4th November and 11th December respectively. Upon reaching the school, the students conducted a morning assembly with the main focus on Health and Hygiene.The students visited each class and conducted various classroom activities on topics such as Clean and Dirty, Importance of Handwashing, Healthy and Unhealthy Foods, and Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Each topic was explained in a simple and engaging manner, followed by fun games to reinforce learning.
Situation Awareness Mission(SAM):
This visit to St. Michael’s School for Blinds was organized on 21st January 2026, for 26 students from Std. 8 to create a better understanding in our children as to how to tackle challenges in life. It also aimed to create an everlasting bond between children irrespective of their physical impairedness. We went with an objective to gain insights into the lives of visually impaired children and it was really an overwhelming experience.
Quiz Club:
On 11th December 2025, our school Quiz club organized Inter-house Quiz for students of classes 5 to 9. A total of 320 students participated in the event making it a grand success. Further a final stage round had been conducted in which Tagore House became 1st, Kalam house became 2nd and Teresa House got 3rd position.
Ministry of Science and Technology, Government .of India, had organized an event for Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE). In this event, our three students from standard VII to IX , Shourya, Parth Bhushan and Reyansh presented their projects.
On 6th May 2025, 2 students from our school Ved Prakash and Aman of class 10 had presented their Project “Van – de-Graff Generator” on inter College project exhibition on Science Day at Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi.
