Model United Nations also known as ‘Model UN’ or ‘MUN’ is a simulation of United Nations procedures. In MUN, the participants roleplay delegates of varied counties to the United Nations and engage in negotiations, discussions and lively intellectual debates. The MUN Club of St. Thomas School organised the 6th Edition of the MUN Conference for the students of classes VIII to X on 1st and 2nd August, 2024 under the guidance of esteemed Principal, Rev. M. O. Oommen Jr. and Vice Principal, Mrs. Susan Oommen. Around 90 students participated in the Conference this year. The Competition was a grand success with the support and cooperation of teachers and other MUN Club members, office staff and Master Harsh Ranjan, an alumnus.
