On the auspicious occasion of Teachers’ Day, a heartwarming celebration took place in the school auditorium, organized by the enthusiastic students of Class 9 and 10.The ceremony was graced by the presence of our esteemed Principal, Rev Dr. M.O. Oomen Jr., and the Vice Principal.
The festivities commenced with a beautiful tribute to the great philosopher and former President of India, Dr. S Radhakrishnan, whose birthday is celebrated as Teachers’ Day in our country. A certificate of appreciation was given to some teachers to their contribution towards the school.
The highlight of the celebration was the Guru Puja, a solemn and heartfelt expression of respect and gratitude towards the teachers. Students came together in a touching display of appreciation for their mentors, acknowledging the invaluable guidance and wisdom imparted by them. Following the Guru Puja, the students distributed cards to each teacher.
To infuse an element of fun into the event, an “Edugames Champs” competition was organized for the teachers. Laughter and cheer filled the auditorium as teachers and students engaged in friendly competitions and activities, strengthening the bond between them.
The event came to a close with a benediction offered by a revered figure, concluding the celebration on a spiritual and positive note.
