The Haritima Club of St. Thomas School, Dhurwa celebrated Nature’s Day on 24th July 2025, with great enthusiasm, aiming to promote environmental awareness and sustainable living among students.The event began with the words of prayer for the motherland followed by plantation of saplings by our esteemed Principal, Rev. Thomas K. Thomas, respected Vice-Principal, Mrs. Jessy Jacob, the honourable guest for the day, Mrs. Reena Charles along with the teachers of the Haritima Club and the students’ council members of the Tagore House.The ceremony symbolized the school’s commitment to greener initiatives and encouraged students to take small steps towards environmental conservation.The event aimed at propagation of awareness amongst the children about the importance of nurturing our nature for a better future and to foster a sense of responsibility among them, inspiring them to adopt eco-friendly habits in their daily lives.
The Nature’s Day celebration at St. Thomas School was a resounding success, promoting a deeper connection with nature and encouraging actions that support a healthier planet. The event concluded with a renewed commitment to protect our mother Earth to maintain the well-being of present and future generations.
