The Annual Sports Meet of kicked off with a grand spectacle on December 5th, 2023, marking a week of incredible athleticism and camaraderie. The Opening Ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Ms. Pushpa Pradhan, the former Captain of the Indian Women’s Hockey team, who brought her passion and dedication to ignite the spirit of sportsmanship.The event reached its crescendo on December 12th, 2023, with a spectacular Closing Ceremony. This time, the honor of Chief Guest was bestowed upon another illustrious figure, Ms. Asunta Lakra, former Captain of the Indian Women’s Hockey team.Both days were further elevated with the charismatic presence of Guests of Honor—Mrs. Jolly Kurien, the dynamic Secretary-MTES, and Mr. Sijan Kumar, the astute Treasurer of MTES. Their involvement and support undoubtedly added a touch of prestige to an already spectacular occasion.
