St. Thomas School, Dhurwa, Ranchi, successfully conducted the 7th STSR Model United Nations (MUN) Conference on 20th and 21st August 2026. The conference was organised with great enthusiasm and provided students with an excellent platform to develop their research, debating, diplomacy, and communication skills.
The conference comprised of two committees—the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), with around 40 students participating in each committee. The delegates displayed remarkable confidence and preparedness. They conducted extensive research on their respective countries and presented their viewpoints through meaningful and well-structured debates.
The committees were inaugurated by our Principal, Rev. Father Thomas K. Thomas, and Vice Principal, ma’am Mrs. Jessey Jacob. Their presence and encouragement inspired the young delegates to participate with greater enthusiasm and commitment.
The entire conference was conducted successfully with the dedicated efforts of the students, teachers, office staff and the maintenance staff. The active participation, impressive research, and spirited debates of the delegates made the 7th STSR MUN a memorable and enriching experience for everyone.
With the grace of the Almighty and the good wishes and support of all, the 7th STSR MUN was successfully concluded.
